Also known as Hola in Spanish, Hello is a hopeful, optimistic song about celebrating life and knowing that it’s ok to celebrate yourself and the people around you. Hello was the first song Sean and Bailey wrote together when they started their collaboration, and it felt like a fitting introduction to the bands music. Bailey had the song on her SoundCloud, and Sean heard it and was so taken aback by its complexity, he wrote over it before even introducing himself to Bailey. Bailey must’ve liked it, cause she agreed to make more music. What a win for Sean.
lyrics
Hello
Wide eyed and beautified
You... how are you doing?
Truth
Wide eyed and terrified too
What are you thinking?
Stiff lipped and unkissed
Tell me where you’re going?
You got some plans
Hey
I got some plans
Hey
I’m down to rearrange them
I just thought that you should know I am celebrating
I just thought that you should know you can be celebrated
I’m hoping our time will come
Rose colored like bubblegum
Bubblegum
I just thought that you should know I am celebrating
I just thought that you should know you can be celebrated
I’m hoping that it's begun
All light and no tunnel
Man, what have we done?
It always seemed like a stretch
Fairy tale dust at its best
Some say that once is enough
Who are they kidding?
She freely moves in through the door
An ocean of color and form
Please excuse all of my lines
Your nervous grinning
Hello
(Hi hi hi hi)
Hello
(Hi hi)
Hi
Do you hear the tick tock?
The punching of the time clock
I said it once before this
I’m better on the floor miss
Where everything’s an echo
Hello Hello Hello?
Can anybody hear me?
Or should I whisper freely?
Lay it on the ground now
What goes around comes around
Tag you with the sharp end
If only for a moment
I just need a little
Enough to fill a thimble, yeah
I promise I won't waste it
When every drop is sacred
I just thought that you should know I am celebrating
I just thought that you should know you can be celebrated
I’m hoping our time will come
Rose colored like bubblegum
Bubblegum
I just thought that you should know I am celebrating
I just thought that you should know you can be celebrated
I’m hoping that it’s begun
All light and no tunnel
Man, what have we done?
